In The Makings of an Asian Entrepreneur, Kenny The Fish gives an honest account of how the Yap family survived many setbacks, overcoming their problems together and became more united as one family. Kenny shares his many experiences in running a family business that has spanned over 12 years.

Kenny’s greatest challenge in writing this book was the chapter, Striking a Balance, an art that requires much logic and practice. Our whole life is about balancing things - once they become more balanced, life would be easier. Kenny talks about networking to succeed - the fact that no school teaches networking but sometimes, it is not what you know, but who you know. People learn from one another in order to progress but we can learn from other species too, especially fishes.

The brilliant use of different types of fishes to describe life and business philosophies in general, coupled with Kenny’s 10 candid and interesting Fishy Quotes, make this book an inspirational and enjoyable read.
